“I just wanted to thank you for the delicious food that you produced for my 50th birthday party at Whitchurch Rugby Club in Cardiff, on Saturday 9th September 2017.
As a busy copywriter, I had the imagination to come up with a menu but not the time nor ability to make it a reality. My list of selected foods within the theme of the 1970s included old favourites like cheese & pineapple on sticks, prawn cocktail filled vol-au-vents, cheese straws and mini quiches. You brightened up this rather “beige” food list with four salads that contained lots of vegetables that sparkled and twinkled in the dishes.
Using Cooked From Scratch as the caterer for my birthday party made a huge difference. It meant I was free to greet and chat with my guests, knowing that a reliable and professional caterer was there. Dear Claire

I write this letter as an acknowledgement to the recent bread making class both my Mum and I attended, I wanted to write this letter of thank you to highlight how much fun I had and how much I learnt.

From the very beginning it was clear that you were very experienced and patient, the diverse ability and confidence of the other people who attended surprised me, yet this never impacted on the learning or direction of the course.  The 4 hours absolutely flew by and I have never laughed so much.

The following day I made some pizzas for my family and they were blown away by the taste and quality of my dough!  I have cooked all of the recipes you demonstrated at least twice since the course and I continue to do so three weeks later.  You must have had an impact!

Attended ‘Cooking with Kids’ Class, Morganstown, Cardiff “Testimonial for Cooked From Scratch My daughter and I attended a Kids and Grown ups cookery class this morning run by Claire Davies. I have to say it was excellent.
Claire had thought of everything. We had 3 dishes to prepare and Claire had all the ingredients and equipment ready for us. We started off making bread dough for a pizza base but absolutely no kneading!!! Just lots of throwing and slamming, lots of giggles and a very delicious result!
Then a different dough for wraps – and a lot of rolling!!
And…we also managed to make these delicious and I think pretty impressive chocolate pots with lots of dark chocolate … of course!
It was a great experience. Claire really knows her stuff. Plus, she’s friendly and professional.

“Claire @ Cooked from Scratch was recommended to me by a friend in’ Linked In’.  I asked Claire to cater for  50 people for my 60th Birthday party that I was throwing at home, mainly in marquees in the courtyard. We contacted each other by email ,then had a preliminary meeting to discuss my requirements, most of the food being vegetarian with a couple of fish dishes.
Claire arrived a couple  of hours before the party and as I had so much to do, I let her get on with putting the food out on the prepared tables. The prepared canapés were handed around early, they were delicious and soon disappeared.
The main buffet was also delicious including a variety of salads + many different tarts …plenty left over for a few days afterwards.
The desserts were very rich + creamy…I highly recommend the cheesecake with fruit compote and one guest was addicted to the mini welsh cakes.
I highly recommend Claire for her  home cooking and her professional presentation.”
